Amayeta Release SWF Encrypt 6.0 1st September 2009
Amayeta Ltd today announced the release of SWF Encrypt 6.0, a major update to their industry leading Flash Actionscript Encryption Software.
Introduced over 5 years ago, SWF Encrypt has received mass acclaim for being the first mainstream encryption tool for Flash Actionscript. SWF Encrypt 6.0 builds upon the advanced obfuscation techniques along side unique encryption technology to further protect and secure Flash ActionScript Code. SWF Encrypt 6.0, available for WIndows and Mac OSX, has now been updated fpr Flash 10, ActionScript 3.0 SWF Files.
ActionScript is the programming language used for scripting Adobe Flash movies and applications, referred to as SWF Files. The Adobe SWF File Format is an "Open File Format" which means there is no native protection and the contents of the SWF file can be viewed using Flash Decompiler Tools. These tools break open the resources that make up a SWF file and can display the full ActionScript Source Code. SWF Encrypt 6.0 shields ActionScript from Flash Decompilers and SWF hackers by encrypting and obfuscating the Actionscript whilst retaining its original functionality.
SWF Encrypt 6.0 includes encryption and obfuscation support for Adobe Flash SWF Movies, SWC Components and even Flash Lite SWF Movies. It is the first major update to provide protection for Flash Lite and the first in the industry.
