Beware of Bogus Imitation Software
It has recently come to the attention of Amayeta Limited, that bogus SWF "protection" software is being sold online by rogue traders. Whilst we cannot name the vendors for legal reasons, we wanted to advise potential customers to be weary of specific "competitors" software products which infringe several copyrights and utilize old or out-of-date obfuscation methods.
This bogus software is sold online at a fraction of the cost of legitimate SWF Encryption tools and should be avoided by potential consumers.
SWF Obfuscation is an extremely time consuming and delicate procedure which requires advanced technical knowledge of the Flash Format. Legitimate SWF Encryption Software Developers have invested both time and money into developing their tools, and this is reflected in the quality of their products.
We urge all users to be vigilant against such rogue traders and bogus protection software. If you are in any doubt, please check the legal company credentials of a particular vendor and exercise caution when evaluating suspected imitation software.
